Blues in Tarpon Springs
Tom “TBone” Hamilton is a renowned bassist, vocalist, and producer with over 35 years of experience in the blues, jazz, and Americana music scenes, primarily in the Tampa Bay area.
Known for his “Big Stake in Blues & Jazz” style, he has shared stages with legends and served as a sideman for artists including Ronnie Earl, Mitch Woods, and Bryan Lee. Hamilton founded The TBone Hamilton Band in 2009—a quartet inspired by the funky, New Orleans-style grooves of Booker T. and the MGs.
He also led TBone Hamilton’s Big Easy Revue, an eight-piece horn band blending New Orleans funk, Texas blues, and jazz with tunes from the Neville Brothers, The Funky Meters, and Dr. John.
In 2013, he launched TBone Hamilton & the Blues All Stars, which produced the 2019 Album A Tribute to Willie Dixon. He has also produced music videos, including the 2020 release “My Babe.”
In September 2025, Hamilton released his fifth produced album, Live at the Music Gallery, on his newly launched label, BoneHead Records. Recorded live on September 23, 2023, at the Music Gallery in New Port Richey, the album captures the raw energy and tight chemistry of the TBone Hamilton Band through a blend of original tracks,classics, blues, jazz, and rock.
