It is Now Time to say Goodbye

A musical project I started several years ago, TBone Hamilton’s Big Easy Revue was born out of a desire to play the funkiest music in the world from the great city of New Orleans. I’m happy to say that we have accomplished that task. It’s been a great joy and a sheer musical force of will, that we have been able to perform this art form in front of thousands of people.

As with all things in life, sometimes you have to say goodbye, and now is a good time to put this project on the shelf, a difficult decision that I have been putting off for quite some time. Being an artist, you must follow your muse, and now it is time for me to focus on the TBone Hamilton Band, the new course I have chosen to set. I will be closing down the Big Easy Revue Facebook page and merging it with the TBone Hamilton Music page.

I want to thank all the musicians who have ALWAYS stepped up for the Big Easy Revue and made me a better musician. We have provided a light and a groove for the people. To all the promoters and bookers – thank you! We work as a team, and we have had some great moments for sure. Thanks to my wife, Carolyn, for her unyielding support and for ALL the cool graphics and posters.

One door closes and another opens. I am looking forward to the future, and I hope that all of you will follow and enjoy all the new music I will be presenting currently and into the future.
